BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe model year 2013 Once again BMW is advancing into a new vehicle segment with the introduction of the BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe. Following the convertible and the Coupe in the BMW 6-Series, this new exclusive model is the true embodiment of aesthetics, sportiness, comfort and luxury in perfect form. The lean elegance of this vehicle, the very first four-door Coupe in the history of BMW, is truly an exceptional phenomenon. Powerful engines and the advanced chassis technology contribute to a sporty and dynamic driving experience. The BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe is also distinguished by exclusive features and equipment, roominess for rear passenger comfort and remarkable advanced functionality that is unusual even for an upscale, four-door Coupe. For example, folding rear seatbacks and an auxiliary third seat are among the unique design features that contribute to the car's versatility.

Driving dynamics, smooth performance and efficiency are the hallmarks of the TwinPower Turbo engines available for the BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe. Furthermore, the BMW 650i Gran Coupe will be the first model offered with a new and more efficient V8 engine that delivers an impressive 330 kW/450 hp. This engine, just like the six-cylinder power units in the BMW 640i Gran Coupe and the BMW 640d Gran Coupe, is offered as standard in conjunction with an eight-speed Sport automatic transmission and proven BMW EfficientDynamics technology. Standard equipment on all models also includes the Driving Experience button with ECO PRO Mode and the Auto Start Stop function

Chevrolet SS model year 2014

from the inside Chevrolet SS model year 2014
As Chevrolet's first V-8, rear-wheel-drive performance sedan since 1996, the new Chevrolet SS is designed to deliver performance on the street and on the track. The 2014 Chevrolet SS debuts at the Daytona International Speedway as the SS racecar makes its NASCAR debut during the Daytona 500.

"The Chevrolet brand was largely built on the strength of rear-drive performance sedans, yet it's been 17 years since we've offered one," said Mark Reuss, president of General Motors North America. "The all-new Chevrolet SS fills that void and fills it better than any other vehicle in the brand's rich history. The comfort, convenience, spaciousness and V-8 power make the SS a total performance package unlike any other on the road today."

The Chevrolet SS benefits from the proven, race-tested, global rear-wheel drive architecture that is the foundation for the Camaro, Caprice Police Patrol Vehicle and Holden's VF Commodore.

The Chevy SS is powered by the LS3 Chevrolet V-8, expected to deliver 415 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque. Also used in the 2013 Chevrolet Corvette, the LS3 displaces 6.2 liters, more than the 5.5-liter V-8 powering the Chevrolet SS NASCAR competitors.

The LS3 is married to a six-speed automatic transmission, which can be shifted manually using the shift paddles mounted on the steering wheel. With an aggressive 3.27 final-drive ratio, the Chevrolet SS accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in about five seconds - making it one of the quickest sedans on the market.

To ensure that it turns and stops as well as it accelerates; the Chevrolet SS also features a sport-tuned chassis, including:

MacPherson strut front and multilink independent rear suspension geometry
Electronic power steering system, optimized for sport driving
Standard Brembo brakes, with ventilated, 355-mm rotors and two-piece, four-piston front calipers
Forged aluminum wheels, wrapped in ultra-high-performance Bridgestone tires: 19 x 8.5 inch wheels with 245/40ZR19 tires in front; 19 x 9.0 inch wheels with 275/35ZR19 tires rear

Handling is also improved by a near 50/50 weight distribution, and a low center of gravity - made possible in part by the aluminum hood and rear deck lid that are 30 percent lighter than traditional steel panels.

"Our goal was to create a car that delivers incredible grip and handling balance while cornering, while still being comfortable to drive on the road," said David Leone, executive chief engineer GM global programs. "The perfect weight balance and lower center of gravity were a big part of that goal because it enabled the team to tune for a more comfortable highway ride without sacrificing handling or driver confidence while cornering at the limits."

Similarly, the design of the Chevy SS blends performance cues and premium details.

"From every angle, the Chevrolet SS says power and performance," said John Cafaro design director Chevrolet passenger cars and small crossovers. "The combination of an aggressive rear-wheel drive stance and body-side attitude with the right balance of detail and refinement inside and out are the perfect home for Chevrolet's V-8 performance package."

The staggered front and rear wheels, which are pushed out to the corners, enhance the sporting, muscular stance of the SS. Up front, the aluminum hood features a subtle "power bulge" hinting at the power of the engine underneath. At the rear, the tapered, tear-drop shape contributes to improved aerodynamic performance. Premium cues include jewel-like chrome accents, standard high-intensity discharge headlamps and light-emitting diode daytime running lights.

The spacious interior of the SS will comfortably accommodate five adults, with 42 inches of front legroom, and 39 inches of rear legroom. Leather seating surfaces are standard, as are eight-way power adjustable front bucket seats with additional side bolstering that hug the driver and front passenger in tight-handling situations. The SS emblem is prominently stitched onto the soft-touch instrument panel which features two types of chrome finishes - a satin gloss and a bright chrome. At night, the interior is illuminated by ice blue ambient lighting.

An integrated center stack includes infotainment, climate and other vehicle controls. The Chevrolet SS also offers a long list of technology features as standard equipment including:

Color, in-dashboard touch screen that supports Chevrolet MyLink and the next-generation navigation system
    Bose® Nine-speaker premium sound system
    Color heads-up display
    Push-button start
    StabiliTrak Electronic Stability Control
    Forward Collision Alert
    Lane Departure Warning
    Side Blind Zone Alert
Rear-vision camera Rear Cross Traffic Alert

The Chevy SS is also the first Chevrolet to offer Automatic Parking Assist, which provides hands-free parking help. This efficient 'hands-free' parking assistant uses the ultrasonic sensing system to detect the width and depth of either parallel or reverse right-angle parking spaces. While the driver controls the throttle, transmission, and brake, the Automatic Parking Assist controls the steering inputs necessary to neatly park the Chevrolet SS.

The 2014 Chevrolet SS will be available in the fourth quarter of 2013. When it arrives in showrooms, the SS will join the Corvette and Camaro, whose combined sales have made Chevrolet America's favorite performance brand for the last two years

from the inside Daewoo Lacetti SX model year 2004
The Daewoo Lacetti is a compact car available as a four-door sedan, a five-door hatchback or a 4-door station wagon. The Lacetti is made by the South Korean firm GM Daewoo.

The sedan and wagon are designed by Pininfarina, and the hatchback by Giorgetto Giugiaro, and launched in 2002. The hatchback, known as Lacetti-5 in Korea, came later; it was introduced in summer 2003.

Names

Visually identical models are currently also sold as Chevrolet Nubira in some European markets, Chevrolet Optra and Chevrolet Optra5 (hatchback) in Canada, Mexico, Central America, South America, India, Pakistan, Arabia, Southeast Asia, and South Africa, Suzuki Forenza and Suzuki Reno (hatchback) in the United States, Buick Excelle and Buick Excelle HRV (hatchback) in China, and Holden Viva in Australia and New Zealand. The hatchback version has recently been launched in India as Chevrolet SRV.

Europe

In Europe, the car was initially sold as Daewoo Lacetti, but by the end of the 2004 it was rebadged as a Chevrolet. As with its home market, in some European markets, the Lacetti name is also used for the entire range of sedan, station wagon and hatchback models on the same J-series platform.

The European models are available with the following three gasoline-powered 4-cylinder engines:

+ 1.4 L E-TEC II — 94 hp (69 kW) at 6300 rpm
+ 1.6 L E-TEC II — 109 hp (80 kW) at 5800 rpm
+ 1.8 L E-TEC II — 122 hp (90 kW) at 5800 rpm (produced by Holden)

In Europe the sedan version was also sold as Daewoo Nubira, but late in 2003 it was announced that Daewoo would be rebranded as a Chevrolet on the European markets and sales of the Chevrolet Nubira began early in 2004, initially only in Eastern Europe. Following the rebranding of Daewoo products as a Chevrolets across Europe, Nubiras were renamed Chevrolet Lacetti on some markets, thereby expanding the Lacetti lineup to include not only a 5-door hatchback, but also sedan and station wagon models, in line with Korea

Ferrari 458 Italia Grand Am model year 2013

Ferrari 458 Italia Grand Am 2013 After making its track debut at home in Fiorano, the Ferrari 458 Italia Grand Am will be back in action on 26 and 27 July, 2011 for a private test session at Florida's Daytona International Speedway. Taking turns at the wheel will be the tried and tested duo of Jaime Melo and Toni Vilander who can pride themselves of having an extensive list of wins to their name in Ferraris. They will continue development work on the Ferrari 458 Italia Grand Am in preparation for its participation in the 2012 American championship.

The Ferrari 458 Grand Am is built to match the American regulations and is therefore different to the European car, especially in that it develops 500 horsepower and has less efficient aerodynamics than the GT version. It is also fitted with a 48 mm restrictor and maximum revs are 8000. Significant modifications have been made to the braking system, as the car has neither ABS nor traction control. Other differences to the GT3 include the roll-over bar which gives greater lateral protection to increase safety in a series in which collisions are rather more frequent. The car is fitted with tyres from Continental, the sole supplier to the series, featuring a very hard compound, again to conform with the series regulations. On its shakedown today, it completed a good number of trouble-free laps, 45 to be precise in the hands of Maurizio Mediani and Jaime Melo, as they took turns at the wheel.

Daytona recalls many memories of past Ferrari victories in the famous 24 Hour race, the company having close links with this important event. In fact, Ferrari has taken part in 47 of these endurance races, winning five of them outright as well as taking 15 class wins.

Standing out in that list was an amazing clean sweep of the podium in 1967 for the two Ferrari 330 P4 and a 412 N.A.R.T., while back in 1962, Phil Hill and Ricardo Rodriguez won in a Dino 246 SP. That year, no less than four Ferraris finished in the top ten while in 1972, Mario Andretti and Jacky Ickx won in a 312 PB

Honda announced the all-new 2013 Honda Fit EV will be available for lease beginning July 20, 2012, with a three-year lease price of $389 per month. The 2013 Honda Fit EV is the latest in Honda's diverse and growing range of alternative-fuel vehicles, and received the highest fuel-efficiency rating ever given by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), with an adjusted combined mile-per-gallon-equivalency rating of 118 MPGe.

The Honda Fit EV will be available for lease-only in key markets in Oregon and California, after which availability will expand to six East Coast markets in early 2013. The Honda Fit EV's three-year lease price of $389 per month computes to a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $36,625.

Based on the popular five-door, five-passenger Fit and Fit Sport, the 100-percent electric Honda Fit EV features a 20-kilowatt-hour (kWh) Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) battery and a compact 92-kilowatt (123 horsepower) AC synchronous electric motor that generates 189 ft-lb of torque. This efficient powertrain is teamed to a chassis with a fully-independent suspension and a driver-selectable 3-mode drive system adapted from the CR-Z Sport Hybrid. The result is a fun-to-drive EV with a class-leading EPA combined city/highway estimated driving range rating of 82-miles.

An onboard charger allows the vehicle to be plugged into any household-type 120-volt or available 240-volt AC power supply. When connected to a 240-volt circuit, the Honda Fit EV battery can be recharged in less than three hours from a low charge indicator illumination point. When connected to an outlet, charging can be started or stopped with an included Honda Fit EV interactive remote control, through an available smartphone application, or through the internet on a personal computer

Hyundai I20 model year 2013

From the inside Hyundai I20 model year 2013
The new Hyundai i20 model year 2013 represents another step in Hyundai's product development and features a number of changes both inside and out along with the option of a new ultra-efficient and clean 1.1-litre diesel engine.

Its exterior design has received a number of contemporary enhancements to bring it visually more in line with the rest of the i-range. Inside, the New i20 majors on quality with improved plastic materials, a revised and classier centre consol along with updated seat trims.

Among the four powertrain options available to buyers of the new Hyundai i20 will be the new 1.1-litre, three-cylinder 'U-II' diesel engine that develops 75ps. When combined with Hyundai's Blue Drive technologies, this derivative emits just 84g/km of CO2, making it the lowest emitting diesel combustion powertrain on sale today. The engine was developed at Hyundai's Diesel Centre of Excellence - part of the European R&D set-up in Rüsselsheim, Germany - and showcases Hyundai expertise in clean diesel technology.

This ground-breaking new engine will be offered alongside another sub-100g/km diesel powerplant in the form of the 90ps four-cylinder 1.4-litre 'U-ll' engine that emits 96g/km with the aid of Hyundai's Blue Drive technologies. Completing the line-up are two petrol engines: an 85ps 1.2-litre and a 100ps 1.4-litre.

The Hyundai i20 is available in three main trim levels beginning with Classic, moving up to Active and followed by Style. Starting with Classic, each model comes with a generous list of standard specification including remote central locking, six air bags, air conditioning, ESP and, for the first time on i20, Vehicle Stability Management

Nissan Note model year 2014 From the inside From the inside
Advanced, affordable technology, dynamic design and premium-class attention to detail are key qualities that define the new Nissan Note. Marking the start of an exciting new Nissan product drive, the new Note has been designed and engineered to create a bold new B-segment competitor.

First shown at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show and launched across Europe from autumn 2013, the new Nissan Note not only builds on the strengths of its predecessor, it also utilises ideas and engineering innovations showcased on Nissan's ground-breaking Juke and Qashqai models. With a focus on innovation and accessible technology, the new Note delivers a fully rounded ownership experience that perfectly meets the demands and expectations of customers bored with the conventions, gimmicks and limitations of many top selling small cars.

The new Note marks a key milestone in the development of Nissan's small car range. Now offering everything B-segment buyers want and more, Nissan Note brings fresh ideas and a raft of useful, usable technologies to an even broader audience.

Like the Juke and Qashqai, the Note is the result of a design and engineering programme that has seen every key element developed and perfected for European buyers. Engineering work carried out at the Nissan Technical Centre Europe (NTCE) in both the UK and Spain has resulted a car that exceeds sector standards, and brings bold new ideas to the sector. Completing the Note's European credentials is a new production line at Nissan's UK plant in Sunderland. The result of a €147.500 investment in new production facilities, the Note is built alongside the Juke and Qashqai

Porsche 911 Turbo S model year 2014 In introducing the new generation 911 Turbo and Turbo S, Porsche is presenting the top cars of the 911 model series in terms of technology and dynamic performance. 40 years after the world premiere of the first Turbo prototype, the Porsche 911 Turbo is redefining the limits of what is feasible in a sports car for everyday use

For 40 years now, the unique selling point of the 911 Turbo has been the extreme spread of its capabilities that range between dynamic performance and efficiency, between exclusivity and everyday practicality, between tradition and innovation. Advanced development of existing systems and the introduction of new active systems are extending this range in such a way that the 911 Turbo models have now cranked their top values up a notch in all individual disciplines. For example, the lap time of the new Porsche 911 Turbo S at the North Loop of the Nürburgring was reduced to well under 7:30 minutes - naturally with standard production tyres. This advances it into realms of dynamic performance that were previously only attainable by uncompromisingly designed super sports cars.

More than ever, the two new top models also make a clear visual statement about their performance. The characteristic widely flared rear fenders of the new 911 Turbo generation are 28 mm wider than those of the 911 Carrera 4 models - a nearly level surface of more than a hand width extends out from the C-pillar to the outer edge of the car
